We were asked to design architectural elements for a 100-square-meter outdoor terrace that would introduce height and define distinct areas, particularly a secluded dining space. The structures needed to support effective evening lighting while conveying depth and sophistication.
We crafted arches that echo historical architectural forms, bringing gravitas to the contemporary terrace setting. Built in sections from rendered bendy ply, the structures were assembled on-site at the ninth floor. Integrated lighting ensures balanced illumination for evening gatherings, while custom planters at the bases both anchor the structures and provide space for climbing vegetation. The result transforms a modern terrace into a space with architectural presence, where each arch frames a distinct dining zone while supporting the natural flow of social interaction.
